Job Application System

Challenge

Showgirls is a busy hospitality venue employing a large number of staff. Many of the hostesses work part-time to fit around studies and other commitments. The company wanted a quick, flexible, and efficient job application system that streamlined the hiring process and reduced manual handling.

The application process also needed to include intelligent routing, presenting different questions depending on whether the applicant was applying for a bar staff, front of house, or hostess role. Additionally, applicants who were not legally able to work in New Zealand needed to be automatically filtered out early in the process.

Solution

We implemented QS5 as the core of the application system. Key features included:

• Conditional logic to display questions relevant to the role being applied for.
• Automated screening to exclude applicants who did not meet legal work requirements.
• The ability for applicants to upload documents and images, such as a passport, CV, or photo.

Upon completion, each application automatically generated an email notification to the administrator, containing a secure link to any uploaded documents for easy review.

Outcome

The QS5 solution provided Showgirls with a streamlined, intelligent, and mobile-friendly job application process. The system saved administrative time, ensured compliance with employment regulations, and delivered a smooth user experience for applicants across all roles.
